“acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop rhetorical sensibility”
With this course learning outcome, it became very important to be able to work with our groups and find ways to accommodate all of our differences and still be able to produce an effective assignment.
Almost everyone in our group had different schedules due to classes or work so it was necessary to be able to determine all of the tasks and responsibilities prior to the due date of the assignment. One thing my group did was create a group chat where we would briefly discuss what the game-plan is and how we were going to go about it without issues. Some people would even be absent for class so it was crucial to keep communication.

Since the technical proposal was a very demanding project, acknowledging everyone’s differences were very important. The image above illustrates a document we used to split up the work of the powerpoint as labeled by the names and slide numbers. One worry for my group was that since we were to present remotely due to COVID-19, there could arise some issues with the internet. Just in case that someone lags out or can’t join back in the zoom call, we had the precaution of creating that document so we can know what to say for the missing persons’ slides.
