Along with the citations at the end of the paper in APA format, we had to use quotations in the sources to support our claims whilst citing them properly. Citing properly prevents plagiarism and allows us to reference relevant research or studies without doing it ourselves. After quoting a statement from a source, it is recommended to thoroughly explain the citation for the comprehension of the readers.

The image above was taken from a portion of my technical description. Within the paragraphs, there are certain instances where I directly referenced a quote from a source whilst still properly giving the author credit.

Something I also learned as I was citing was to make sure not to overly cite sources and flood the paper with quotations. At that point it would make the paper less credible on the authors end and would not have enough explanations for the readers understanding.
